Degree and Ph.D. in Physics in Rome (Italy) on subjects of statistical physics.
About six years of Post-Doc activities in statistical physics and four of Tenure Track position:
More than two years of Post-Doc in Physics in France (Ecole Polytechnique - Palaiseau);
About four years of Post-Doc and Research Assistant in different institutes of Physics in Italy ("National Institute for Condensed Matter Physics" (INFM) and "E. Fermi" Research Center).
More than four years of Tenure Track reasearch position at the "Statistical Merchanics and Complexity Center" (SMC) of INFM and "Institute of Complex Systemcs" (ISC) of Italian National Research Council (CNR).
PRESENT POSITION (from 16/02/2009): Tenured Research Faculty at ISC - CNR.
During these years I have developed many international scientific collaborations leading to the publication of 1 book for Springer Verlag (2004) on applications of statistical physics to cosmology, around 100 publications on peer-reviewed international scientific journals, and of many proceedings of international scientific conferences.
Teacher of seven courses of advanced statistical physics and stochastic processes for Ph. D. students in physics and of four courses for undergraduate students.
Supervisor of thesis of several Ph.D. and undergraduate studuents.
