Salvatore Celozzi is Full Professor of Electrical Engineering and, currently, Head of the Electrical Engineering Division of the DIAEE Department of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He has published more than 150 papers in international journals or conference proceedings, mainly in the fields of electromagnetic shielding and transmission lines analysis.
He has won the Best Paper Award in 1997 at the International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering (Montreal, Canada) and in 1998 and in 2011 at the IEEE Int. Symposia on Electromagnetic Compatibility.
His current research interests include transmission lines, electromagnetic compatibility, meta- and piezo-materials, and numerical solutions of Maxwell’s equations. In the past, Prof. Celozzi served as Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (1995-2000), as Reviewer for a number of Journals and Conferences and authored a book on Electromagnetic Shielding for Wiley in 2008.
Currently, he is serving again as Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (2016-2019).
