Paolo Del Giudice (male), physicist, is a senior researcher at ISS, and adjunct professor of neural networks at the Physics Department of "Sapienza" University in Rome. He mostly worked in the theory and electronic implementation of neural models. On the subject he published 43 journal papers and over 35 refereed conference papers and book chapters. He co-organized six workshops/schools on neural networks. Recently held grants include four EU grants, two Italy-US bilateral grants and several INFN grants. He served in the editorial board of Advances in Artificial Neural Systems, Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience, and is associate editor of Frontiers in Neuromorphic Engineering. He served as evaluator for several national and international projects. Between 2011 and 2015 he was the coordinator of the ISS Unit of the italian National Institute for Nuclear Research (INFN), and is presently in the steering committee of the ISS-INFN collaborative agreement. He presently serves in the Education Programme Committee of the Human Brain Project. During the period 2013-2014 he was a member of the ISS Scientific Board.
