Andrea Billi è un geologo strutturale versatile e curioso, esperto in processi di fagliazione e fratturazione a tutte le scale, ma anche interessato in molti altri temi e processi geologici tra i quali interazioni faglie-fluidi, terremoti, tsunami, idrotermalismo e scienze del Quaternario. Ha ottenuto la laurea in scienze geologiche presso l'Università Sapienza di Roma ed il dottorato in geodinamica presso l'Università Roma Tre. E' attualmente ricercatore presso il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR-IGAG) a Roma. Andrea Billi is a versatile and curious structural geologist expert in fracturing and faulting processes at all scales, but also interested in many other geological processes and themes such as fault-fluid interactions, earthquakes, tsunamis, hydorthermalism, and Quaternary sciences. He obtained a master-equivalent degree (with Prof. R. Funiciello) from the Sapienza University of Rome and a PhD (with Prof. F. Salvini) from the Roma Tre University of Rome. He is presently researcher at the National Research Council (CNR-IGAG) in Rome.
