Consistent with the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area, students will have to demonstrate that:
1) their knowledge and understanding of basic concepts, processes, and theoretical frameworks are well structured and that they are able to apply these elements in order to develop and support original and personal ideas;
2) they can apply their knowledge and understanding to a wide variety of study cases, by using different approaches and methodologies and taking into account political and extra-political variables;
3) they have improved their critical ability, becoming aware of their own ethical and social responsability linked to the application of their knowledge and judgements;
4) they are able to communicate their conclusions (students will have to make a project on a specific intervention area and they will have to present their ideas and discuss these with their classmates);
5) they have acquired those learning skills which allow them to continue to study in a manner that may be largely self-directed or autonomous, especially with a view to a possible master's thesis.
