Pasquale Tommasino ha conseguito la Laurea e il Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria Elettronica presso l'Università di Roma "La Sapienza," nel 1992 e nel 1999 rispettivamente. Dal 1995 fa parte del Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettronica dell'Università di Roma "La Sapienza", dove è Ricercatore dal 2007. Le sue linee di ricerca principali riguardano la modellistica lineare, non lineare e statistica di dispositivi ad effetto di campo, e la progettazione di circuiti ibridi e integrati per applicazioni di segnale e di potenza nel campo della radio-frequenza e delle Microonde.
