• Born on February 12th, 1963 in Rome, Italy;
• July 1982, "Diploma maturità tecnica" I.T.I.S. E. Fermi Score 60/60;
• March 1989, Laurea in Fisica score 110/110 cum Laude. Laurea Thesis: "Infrared Spectroscopy on the CD4 Molecular Quantum Solid”, at the Department of Physics, Sapienza University of Rome;
• 1990-1992, PhD fellowship on " An Infrared Study of High-Tc Superconductors in their Normal Phase”, at the Department of Physics, Sapienza University of Rome;
