DESCRIZIONE DEL CORSO: L’obiettivo del corso di primo anno è quello di condurre gli studenti a una riflessione metalinguistica sulla lingua oggetto di studio. Una prima parte delle lezioni verterà sull’analisi di aspetti fonetico/fonologici, morfosintattici e lessico-semantici propri della lingua inglese. La seconda parte del corso sarà invece dedicata all’approfondimento di teorie e pratiche pragmatiche (uso della lingua in contesto significativo) attraverso l’analisi di strategie pragmatiche che emergono da esempi provenienti dalla lingua orale (dialoghi tratti da serie TV, film, ecc.) e scritta (testi teatrali, post e commenti tratti da social media, ecc.).
