- Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia conseguita il 5 Luglio 1982 presso l Università degli Studi La Sapienza di Roma con la votazione di 110 e lode.
- Abilitazione all esercizio della professione di medico chirurgo conseguita nella sessione autunnale 1982.
- Specializzazione in Gastroenterologia ed Endoscopia Digestiva conseguita il 24 Luglio 1986 presso l Università degli Studi La Sapienza di Roma con votazione di 70 e lode.
