Claudio Di Ciccio is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of Sapienza University of Rome. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna, Austria). He received a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2013 at Sapienza. His research interests include Process Mining, Automated Reasoning and Blockchain Technologies.

He regularly publishes his research work in major outlets of Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering and related disciplines. Claudio Di Ciccio is a member of the Steering Committee of the IEEE Task Force on Process Mining. He has been appointed General Chair of the International Conference on Process Mining in 2023, and Program Committee Chair of the International Conference on Business Process Management in 2022, the International Conference on Process Mining in 2021, and the BPM Blockchain Forum in 2019.
