The syllabus of this course provides students with an evolutionary learning on the objectives and competencies to be
acquired in the field of Power Systems and Control and Operation. Every fundamental skill that should be acquired by
students is directly linked with each course main subject matter. Skills could be acquired by lectures and practical
classes and by the execution of a set of pedagogically fundamental activities for continuous evaluation, each one
related with one of the course main topics. In order to apply the theoretical notions taught in the course some test
systems and real world cases are presented and analyzed during the classes. The proposed syllabus allows the
achievement of the goals for this curricular unit and a more structured and complete education in this field.
