Lessons will cover a variety of topics about gender equality such as: gender equality indicators; labour force participation; vertical and horizontal segregation in labour markets; wage gaps; pension gaps; consumption, savings and portfolio decisions; financial literacy; time-use; violence against women.
The course will include both academic sessions and case studies. After attending the course, the students will increase their ability in dealing, both theoretically and empirically, with gender diversity in the economic context, and they will increase their statistical competences of data sources and data analyses of primary and secondary sources the phenomenon.
